A few more pics from our holiday.

And finally, here are a few more pictures from our Buffel's bay holiday. What a nice time I/we had there.

Paragliding at Buffel's Bay.

This is our second last day in Buffel's Bay. A few paragliding buds from C-Town (South Africa), demonstrated some fine ground control while taking of from a perfectly level beach. OK, they used the dune as a 'wind elevator' but they never walked up the overgrown dune. The wind was way to strong for paramotoring. How bad (for me). I have try to paramotor earlier but the 20+Km/h wind kept me on the ground.I have decided to wake up at 06:00 tomorrow morning, hopping the wind will not be too strong.

The long walk . . .

No one did believe us but my son and I, did walk/run along the beach, from Buffel's Bay to Brenton on Sea and back! On the first leg the wind was from East, right in the face and slowed us down a bit. On the way back it was 'all downhill' and we did the 6km, soft sand beach, in 45min. The first leg took just under one hour. Not bad for a 44 year old couch potato and a 6 year old kid . . .

On vacation in Buffel's Bay.

Wow,finally we've made it. Once again we come to visit this beautifull place. Its not only beautifull but is safe too. And that says a lot because we are in South Africa after all.

Michael at the Kabeljous lagoon.

Keep in mind, my cellphone has a build-in GPS and most photos in here are location tagged. Using PICASA (or any other suited program), you can see in Google Earth where exactly the pictures have been taken !

Michael at the Kabeljous lagoon.

Michael's friends went fishing and he stayed home. Not for long though. While searching the beach for his buddies we stopped at the lagoon to watch the flamingos.
