On Friday we will go camping in a wilderness near Plettenberg-Bay (Western Cape, South Africa). My wife is not keen on camping. My kids manged to make her agree to a 'trial camp'. I only hope the weather will be nice.

The snake and the cat.

The evening before last, my wife called upon me, to remove a night adder, which decided to pay us a visit. Cindy, our cat, tried her best to keep the venomous snake at bay. Unfortunately, I had to kill the snake in the end. I seldom do that, but my wife insisted. With children playing around, I had no other choice.
